This Donatos opened in 1998, just as the potential of the outer belt to the northwest of Columbus was beginning to develop for the new millennium. Its location makes it the go-to Donatos for organizations such as Olentangy City Schools and the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. Donatos has been a presenting sponsor with the Columbus Zoo, including its Zoo Character Ambassadors, since 2012. The partnership has allowed a mutual relationship to provide seasonal benefits for the citizens of Columbus.

Shelley Meyer, Urban Meyer’s wife, has been spotted eating here, which is very cool, but associates believe their most loyal customer is greenhouse owner Doug Thorson. He comes in weekly, orders food and he often speaks with the staff and managers about their day or things going on around the community.
