Since its opening in 1984, Donatos Kenny Road has strived to incorporate into their culture the three fundamentals on which Donatos was built: creating a superior product, hiring great people, and adhering to strong principles that promote goodwill in business and the community. This restaurant is most proud of creating a program for children with developmental disabilities to come in twice a week to help fold pizza boxes.

Despite being diverse in age and background, the staff have developed close relationships and regularly go bowling together. As veterans of the restaurant, Marlo Gilley and Patrick Bayer have each worked to create the best pizzas and deliver the best customer service for 15 years.

The restaurant also celebrates a diverse customer community and is neighbors with the largest Asian market in Columbus, Sunrise Asian Super Market. One of the most memorable members of this customer community is Joe, who comes in three times a week, every week, with new friends.
